As you are already aware, GUS will go away on January 10th, 2003, and ACS will replace it on that date.
ACS will only be accessible through the CME Portal via the Internet. All current 3270 GUS users who need to utilize the new ACS application should request Portal access as soon as possible.
If you are currently using a �dumb terminal� connected to your AS/400 for accessing all CME 3270 systems, APS, TES etc., please note that you will NOT be able to access ACS in this manner. You must use an Internet browser. Therefore, you will need to use a PC that has Internet access, either on the trading floor, or in your firm�s office. If your firm has not already made the appropriate arrangements, we urge you to address this issue, ASAP.
